JUPEB
Approval
JUPEB is a nationally recognized examinations body, endorsed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in December 2013. Its formal establishment took place in April 2014, under the leadership of the University of Lagos and a consortium of ten (10) partnering universities.
Standardization
JUPEB plays a vital role in standardizing examinations for candidates who have completed at least one year of approved courses in various University Foundation and Diploma Programs. These students aspire to secure Direct Entry admissions into University courses at the 200 Level, both in Nigerian institutions and partnering foreign universities.
Commencement
The inaugural JUPEB examination took place in August 2014, resulting in successful candidates gaining admission into 200 Level, facilitated by JAMB through recommendations from participating universities. Starting from 2015, JUPEB Examinations are now held annually in June, providing a clear and structured path for students to pursue higher education."

JUPEB FEE AND REGISTRATION

Application Fee
Application fee for JUPEB is just #15,000 only
Clearance & Acceptance Fee
The acceptance fee is ₦20,000. The acceptance fee is to be paid within one-two weeks after the completion of registration to enable applicant print their admission letter into their selected study centre. Instructions and procedure will follow after applicant has successfully completed their registration and picked their desired study centre.
Tuition Fee
Admissionmylink is committed to offering affordable JUPEB fees. These fees range from ₦90,000 to ₦120,000, depending on the study location you wanted. You have the flexibility to pay in installments.
Other cost
Please note that tuition fees do not cover additional program expenses such as accommodation, examination fees, laboratory/practical fees, textbooks, etc. These fees are optional and should be paid separately. Note: An additional fee, known as the final expenses/result collection fee, ranging from ₦30,000 to ₦50,000, will be required.
Materials and Practicals
Materials: For just ₦30,000 which recommended books and past questions for the JUPEB program will be provided to interested students upon their program commencement. Laboratory Fee (Science): Science students may incur a laboratory fee ranging from ₦5,000 to ₦15,000, depending on their course combination. This fee supports laboratory practicals conducted before the JUPEB final examination.
Hostel Accomodation
Accommodation fees vary between ₦40,000 to ₦100,000, depending on location and room conditions. The fee covers the entire program duration and is optional.

Register here on this website
The programme is normally for a duration of 9-10 months (one academic session).

The Examination is written in June every year.
No, all candidates for JUPEB examinations are expected to register through the study centre location where they are receiving lectures.
Category B
The Examination is written in the JUPEB approved university centres nationwide.
The results are released in August every year.
Results are released to the university centres and candidates are to collect their statement of results from their university centres.
A= 5 points, B= 4 points, C= 3 points, D= 2 points, E= 1 point, F= 0 point (failed grade).
1 additional point is added when a candidate scores A, B, C, D or E in all the three subjects e.g. a candidate with B, D, C has 10 points.
A candidate who passes JUPEB examination is given a direct entry admission into 200 level in a Nigerian University.
Category C
Yes, provided that:
i. The university accepts JUPEB results
ii. You meet up with the University’s cutoff point for your choice course of study
From the university centre where you registered for the examination.
The JUPEB result is tenable within (3) three admission years
Yes, if a candidate does not make the desired grades in the examination, he/she can rewrite the examination in another year.

Yes, you will send a request to registrarce@jupeb.edu.ng and your request will attract fees.

Only the National Universities Commission (NUC) approved universities are permitted to run the JUPEB programme after such university has been duly affiliated to JUPEB.
Student should contact the JUPEB Centre Director of their university centre where he/she has registered.
